Trojan Jazz Band
The Fountain-Fort Carson High School Jazz Band is open by audition to all students currently enrolled in the FFCHS Band program. Students will perform in concerts and festivals, listen to the best jazz artists, and study jazz history and improvisation.
New to the 2021 - 2022 school year, Jazz Band will be held as a zero hour course from 7:00a.m. until 7:50a.m. each day. Auditions for Jazz Band will take place prior to the start of the school year.
Only students who are concurrently enrolled in Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, Concert Band or Percussion Class may audition for this ensemble with the possible exception of guitar, bass and piano players. Jazz Band may not be a student's primary (only) band course during any semester.
